Cookery Club create Tomato and Cheese Swirls

COOKERY CLUB MAKE TOMATO AND CHEESE SWIRLS

This week Cookery Club made some tomato and cheese straws using puffed pastry.  First we had to cut the pastry into eight equal parts.  Next we spread tomato bolognese over the pastry and added grated cheese over the top.  Finally we rolled each of the pastries into a swirl.  Unfortunately we ran out of time so we had to cook them at home.

Miss Melanie has included a list of ingredients so you can have a go at home!

1 packet ready rolled puffed pastry
1 jar of tomato bolognese sauce
125g of cheese (stronger the better!)

The swirls need to go in the oven for 25-30mins at 180c

Next week is the last week for this group.  I wonder what they are going to make?!
