EYFS – DAVIES Class
Welcome to Davies Class!
Our class timetable is here.
I would like to introduce myself, Mr Humphreys, as your new Early Years class teacher. I am thrilled to have every one of you here and I cannot wait to embark on this learning journey together. Your presence is valued, and I am here to support and guide you every step of the way. Let's make this a space for inspiration, encouragement and meaningful learning experiences.
Throughout the year, we will explore interesting topics through our ‘3Ps’ curriculum: Person, Place and Point. Our topic for this term is “I am Special”. During Autumn 1, Early Years will focus on the following:
Person: Me
Place: John Burns Primary School
Point: Now
This term, our class book for English is Let’s Get Ready for School by Jane Porter and Carolina Rabei.
Let’s Get Ready for School is a picture book designed to help young children, particularly those preparing to start school for the first time, feel more confident and excited about this big step. The book provides a gentle and engaging introduction to what children can expect when they begin school.
