Throughout the year, we will explore interesting topics through our ‘3Ps’ curriculum: Person, Place and Point. Our topic for this term is “Once Upon A Time”. During Spring 1, Early Years will focus on the following:

Person: Mary Anning 

Place: Planet Earth 

Point: Jurassic Period

This term, our WOW factor will be a fossil hunt. 

About me:

This is my first year at John Burns, and I am excited to be teaching in Early Years. I studied Early Years Education at Edge Hill University. I have experience teaching on supply in the UK, as well as working as an Early Childhood Teacher in Melbourne, Australia. In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog, Louis, spending time with friends and family, and reading. I am passionate about travelling and music.

• A weekly maths task will also be set
• Homework is due every Wednesday
