At John Burns Primary School, we strongly believe in listening to our stakeholders.
Parents are a crucial part of a child's education and the wider success of our school.
There are a number of ways to let us know your thoughts about our school.
At the end of the day is a good opportunity to quickly mention something to the class teacher related to your child.
Please try to avoid doing this first thing in the morning as the teacher's priority is to settle and register their class.
Make an Appointment
Sometimes you may wish to discuss an issue in more depth and we would ask you to either talk directly to your child's class teacher to arrange an appointment or contact the school office who will be more than happy to arrange a suitable time to come in.
This can also be done via the main school email account - firstname.lastname@example.org
We hold termly Parents' Evenings.
Dates for these can be found on the Calendar page or in the weekly newsletter dates and events listings.
Annual Parent Surveys
We carry out an annual parent survey to gauge parental opinion on the broader aspects of our school and assimilate these views in to our school improvement and development plan.
Please see the results of the most recent survey below:
Ofsted have their own communication tool which allows parents to record their views about a school.
We encourage parents to use this facility to record their views.
